OPEC specialises in delivering turn-key fuel system solutions throughout a broad spectrum of industries and has clients from Retail, Commercial, Industrial and Defence sectors.
OPEC Energy offers a comprehensive range of bulk fuel solutions for clients operating in the retail, commercial, industrial and defence sectors.
OPEC is one of very few technology providers to design and construct a commercial scale PFAS Wastewater Treatment Plant. The WTP, located at Army Aviation Centre Oakey in Queensland, Australia, is able to process up to 250,000 litres per day of PFAS contaminated water to below drinking water guidelines.
OPEC Systems is an award winning, Australian-owned Registered Training Organisation (RTO 41595) to help you to gain well-deserved qualifications, either through RPL where we formally recognise the knowledge and skills you already have, or through provision of additional training to achieve your qualifications.
Pollutanks can be used to transport oil products in port and marine operations or for the intermediate storage/transportation of recovered oil. Alternatively, they can also be used for the transportation of all kinds of low-density products. Pollutants are available in various sizes from 5m3 to 100m3.
The Inflatable Oil Storage Barge (IOSB) is a high integrity floating storage tank. It is manufactured from a base neoprene material and has a buoyancy inflation tube around its perimeter which is split into a number of independent compartments. The IOSB has a relatively shallow draft and a shaped keel, which gives it good towing characteristics in the marine environment. The IOSB is available in various sizes from 5m3 to 100m3 and can be used to transport oil products in port and marine operations, or for the intermediate storage/transportation of recovered oil. Alternatively, they can also be used for the transportation of all kinds of low-density products.
Key features and benefits: The tank can be rapidly inflated on the deck of a vessel using low-pressure air inflators. A fitted cover is provided to prevent splash-over during towing, and to allow easy access for emptying and cleaning. The lifting points all adhere to LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998). The neoprene fabric allows for the use in a wide range of operating temperatures (-40C to 90C) and offers excellent abrasion resistance and longevity. There is an additional anti-chafing band along both sides of the hull. The tanks can be towed at 10 knots when empty and 4 knots when full. The independent inflation tube compartments ensure high integrity in the unlikely event of damage to any one compartment. The tank is stiffened by using transverse frames. The tanks have longitudinal ballast tubes, which fill with water during towing and aid in directional stability when the tank is empty.
