Storage and Maintenance Services

Part of OPEC’s responsibility in the Marine Division is the storage and maintenance of equipment used in oil or chemical spills.  In 2013, OPEC secured a contract with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) for the provision of storage and maintenance of National Plan equipment stockpiles in Townsville, Brisbane, Sydney and Dampier. This contract sees OPEC undertake maintenance services for both Tier 2 and 3 Level Oil Spill Response equipment, located at strategic locations throughout Australia.
