During 2021, OPEC CBRNe’s Kestrel garments commenced their rollout under Project LAND 2110-1B across Australian Defence, and now form part of CBRN training for the Australian Army, Navy and Air Force.
The Kestrel was selected by the Australian military for its winning combination of comprehensive CBRN protection supplied within a lightweight, breathable garment, allowing maximum performance during a threat situation.
The two-piece Kestrel achieves its balance of high comfort and 24-hour protection by combining an air permeable outer shell with a high carbon density cloth inner layer.
