Mobilis Medical proudly hosted a Showcase day, providing a practical demonstration of deployable mass casualty health care solutions. The event was attended by several of Australia’s leading experts in this field from the ADF, State Health Authorities and the first responder community with much positive feedback being received.
With the ever increasing threats of natural disasters, terrorist attacks, pandemics, both on-shore and off-shore, the Health Community and First Responders need to be able to respond quickly where healthcare is most needed, either overseas, in remote areas, or as surge capacity locally.
The Showcase was held in Device Technologies’ state-of-the-art training suite in the Northern Sydney suburb of Belrose and it introduced the latest in portable soft shelters and medical equipment. Participants were given the opportunity to interact with the latest innovations in healthcare products, talk one-on-one with product and service experts and network with likeminded peers. International Guest Speaker, Dr Don Diesel, President of Blu-Med Response Systems, shared his extensive experiences of deploying both Defence and civilian field hospital shelter capabilities in extreme conditions, domestically and internationally.
Mobilis Medical is the strategic alliance between OPEC Systems and Device Technologies Australia and combines the latest shelter and remote infrastructure innovations of OPEC Systems with leading edge medical equipment and consumables of Device Technologies.
