DEFENCE ENVIRONMENT AND HERITAGE PANEL

OPEC Systems is delighted to announce that it has been successful in its bid to become a member of the Defence Environment and Heritage Panel (DEHP) for the next three years.  There were twelve specialist areas of expertise on the panel that we could apply for and we applied for the three areas that best matched our internal skill set and experience. We are very pleased to announce that we were accepted in all three areas. These areas are:

D2: UXO Related Materials Assessment and Management

F1: Contamination and Remediation Works Contractor

F2: Unexploded Ordnance Remediation

These positions on the panel will allow OPEC to undertake projects in virtually all of our business Divisions, from Defence projects of a similar nature to the Columboola project, bulk fuel system rectification works, contaminated site remediation activities and even underwater recovery of legacy munitions for Defence (and other Commonwealth Agencies) sites throughout Australia.    We gratefully thank every OPEC employee and our valued sub-contractors and alliance partners as each person has made a valuable contribution to our growth, professionalism and the exceptionally high quality of the goods and services that we supply.
