The SPC General Purpose pads are the first to feature MAXX technology from SPC. This technology increases the absorbency of the pad whilst reducing the weight. This means there are significant savings during manufacture which can then be passed onto the consumer.
The pads are most suited to Spill Kits, especially where Oil Only pads have been used to keep costs down. With the number of spills occuring in a marine environment dramatically reducing in recent years there is not the demand for hydrocarbon specific sorbents. Industrial spills that are both hydrocarbon and aqueous based are much more common. Why limit the liquids you can control by using hydrocarbon only pads - try the SPC General Purpose pad instead.
